Larry & Tina Boylan were newlyweds in their 20’s when they became proprietors of The Inn at Sugar Hill Bed & Breakfast and have been the Inn’s only Innkeepers for 30 years and counting. They are well seasoned innkeepers, who not only genuinely enjoy talking to their guests, but also sharing their knowledge and love of being life long residence of South Jersey. They have raised their children here and now are watching their grandchildren play on the same docks, roll down the same hill, and learn to walk in the same dining rooms and hallways of the Inn. “The Inn at Sugar Hill is a magical place where we have created many wonderful memories, for our family and our many guests”, reminisces Larry. Cooking and renovating are Larry’s creative passions. You will find him wearing his tool belt as much as wearing an apron. He is always coming up with new ideas for the inn’s overnight rooms or restaurant & tavern. When he has some down time, you will find him messing with his boats down at the Inn’s docks. Tina was born with the gift of conversation and a loving heart. While Larry finds joy in creating something with his hands that can be seen… or eaten, Tina prefers getting to know the guests and conversing about their day or world events. She is still a full time school teacher so her time around the inn is limited. Larry runs the day to day operations of the Inn. They both look forward to serving you soon.
